Compact Cocktail (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it — in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who we are

What we collect

Newsletter sign-up — your email address, when you request a discount code or updates on new flavors.
B2B enquiries — name, email, venue/company name and any details you add in the contact or demo-request form.
Purchases — handled entirely by our production & fulfilment partner Fehér Nyúl Brewery on their webshop. We do not see or store your payment details; their own privacy policy covers that data.
How the site gets used — if you accept cookies: which pages get visited, what gets clicked, and a replay of how the page was used, plus your rough area (city level) and device type. Form fields are masked, so what you type is not recorded, and none of it tells us who you are. Choose “Essentials only” and we simply count page views instead, without cookies.

Why we use it

To send the newsletter and discount codes you asked for — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To respond to B2B enquiries and arrange tastings/demos — based on your request and our legitimate interest in following up on it.
To see where people get stuck on the site, so we can fix it — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
To count page views without cookies — based on our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works at all.

Who we share it with

We use a few outside services to run the site, count page views and send the newsletter. Some of that data is handled in the United States, outside the EU. We don’t sell your data, and we only share what these services need to work — just ask if you want the current list.

Cookies

There are two kinds, and you choose.

The essential ones keep the site working: remembering that you confirmed you’re 18+, which language you picked, and which cookie choice you made. These are always on — without them the site would ask you the same questions on every page.

The analytics ones only appear if you press Accept. They’re what let us see where people get stuck. Press Essentials only and none of them are set.

Changed your mind? Reopen the cookie choice at any time, or clear cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. B2B enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to follow up, then deleted or anonymised. Usage data and recordings are deleted automatically after a set period. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you can ask us to:

show you the data we hold about you;
correct anything that’s wrong;
delete your data;
restrict or object to how we use it;
send you a copy in a portable format;
and you can withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe) at any time.

To use any of these, email us at info@compactcocktail.hu. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can also complain to Hungary’s data protection authority, NAIH (naih.hu).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and adjust the date at the top.
